About us
Institute for Sustainable Urban Transformation (ISUT) is a nonprofit scientific research and social organization that seeks to promote environmental and social sustainability, and equity in urban and other settings though research codesigned with communities, and other activities that promote human well being and purposeful lived experience by supporting science, arts, and the humanities in diverse communities. In the United States since 2017 have been incorporated and have 501c3 status under the same name and with the acronym ISUT. We have also incorporated as a nonprofit in Canada under the English name Institute for Sustainable Urban Transformation Canada and the French name Institut pour la Transformation Urbaine Durable du Canada.
